Summer 2017: Bursaries for undergraduate students in STEM subjects:

The terms of the bursaries are as follows:

Period: July and August 2017
Remuneration: approx £1,100 per month.   [If you can start ahead of July 1st we can pay pro rata for time ahead of July 1st in addition to the two months on offer.]
Eligibility: Undergraduates only, science, engineering and design disciplines

Research Associate in Multifunctional Materials Manufacturing for the Automotive Industry

Applications are invited from engineers who can contribute to developing a new manufacturing protocol for multifunctional lightweight materials that exhibit bespoke mechanical properties using sonication technology. The work will be in collaboration with FAR-UK ltd, a Nottingham-based innovative automotive manufacturer. We are looking for an enthusiastic researcher with a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and preferably with practical experience. We are passionate about developing our researchers into highly skilled professionals in the field of High Value Manufacturing, so the post holder will benefit from a range of opportunities designed to progress his/her professional development.
